New York University (NYU), founded in 1831, is one of the largest private universities in the United States and is member of Association of American Universities. At present, there are more than 40,000 students enrolled in 14 schools and colleges at five major centers at Manhattan and in more than 25 countries around the world. Washington Square Campus is the center of NYU in the heart of Greenwich Village.
NYU also operates branch campus programs in Westchester County at Manhattan Ville College and in Rockland County at St. Thomas Aquinas College. University offers more than 2,500 courses and award more than 25 different degrees. In the undergraduate division of the University, the enrollment ranges between 100 and 6,500 with 1:11 student/faculty ratio. There are 8 schools devoted to undergraduate education. For getting admission at New York University, there are two options to apply for admission i.e. by Paper Application and by Online Application. Once admitted, students can apply for financial aid. Students are required to fill Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) and this also can be filed over Internet or the paper version.
